Christine Miles is Authentic Education's Director of Consulting Services. In this role, she leads project proposal development, customizes development opportunities for our clients, and manages AE's highly experienced and professional consultant team. Along with Grant and Denise, she engages in strategic planning and business development initiatives as well.
Christine's experiences include a focus on teaching secondary level English Literature and Strategies for Striving Readers as well as district level instructional supervision of English/Language Arts and English Language Learner Programming in Southern New Jersey. Christine holds an Ed.D. (Organizational Leadership) and M.A. (Educational Leadership) from Wilmington University and a B.A. (English/Secondary Education) from The College of New Jersey.
Believing in the significance of two-way communication, Christine truly values the voices of educators. She aims to assist them in playing an active role in their professional learning by harnessing the power of collaborative teamwork. Christine is a co-founder of Edcamp and serves on the executive board of the Edcamp Foundation, a nonprofit organization designed to facilitate local, grassroots, participant-driven professional development opportunities for educators worldwide. Christine has shared her expertise at local, regional, and national conferences including: ASCD, The English Companion NING Webstitute, The New Jersey Principal & Supervisor Association Leadership Conference, and The NJEA Convention. In addition to this, she has facilitated conference sessions at Stockton and Kean Universities.
